Failed to Attend Policy
We love to see and treat our patients here at the practice. Unfortunately, we do get a lot of appointments wasted during the working week. Many patients ring us in agony and we are not always able to see them straight away. Please be courteous to us and our other patients.
We humbly request that all patients do ring us as soon as practicable if they cannot attend an appointment, so we can give it to someone in real need. We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel, and if we do not, or have you not contacted at all even after the event, then this will go down as a failed appointment. If you miss two or more then we may not be able to offer you any more appointments.
If you are 10 minutes late or more then please let the reception staff know. We may have to reappoint you.
We understand that life does not run as smoothly as we all wish, and genuine issues occur. We do apply common sense to all our policies, but please respect us so that we can be fair to everyone.
